The North Syracuse Education Foundation (NSEF), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing educational opportunities for the public-school students in the North Syracuse Central School District (NSCSD) from PreK- 12th grades. For over 20 years, our foundation has been making significant strides promoting academic excellence, fostering creativity, and providing over $200K in valuable resources for students and educators alike. This past year, we set a record by funding $40K in grants and programs district-wide within a single school year. As a valued community member, you too have the power to support the next generation of community leaders.
NSEF is launching a 5-year campaign to secure the future of the North Syracuse Education Foundation to a value of a half million dollars or more, and we believe that your philanthropic spirit and dedication to education align perfectly with our goals. Currently, we have an endowment held and managed by the CNY Community Foundation, which has a value of approximately $220K so we are well on our way to our goal. The endowment serves as a lasting investment in the future of our local community by ensuring a stable and enduring source of funding for educational programs, scholarships, and innovative initiatives sponsored by NSEF that are not covered by the regular school district budget.
Your generous contribution will not only impact the lives of current students but will also leave a legacy that will benefit generations to come and will play a crucial role in shaping the future of education for students in North Syracuse, Cicero, and parts of Clay, Salina, Mattydale, Brewerton and Bridgeport.
